Using a FoodSaver

There are lots of things you can use a FoodSaver for. Repackaging bulk size dry goods is one of the best, in my opinion.

For instance, we got a real deal on a 20lb bag of rice the other day. I don't know about your family, but even ours can't use 20lbs of rice in a single sitting. Not even at Thanksgiving. Since I already had a plastic server container filled with rice for daily use, I decided to seal it up in FoodSaver bags for longer term storage.
